- From the 1881 Census (RG11 Piece 3005 Folio 124 Page 34) we see that Emma, 5, a Scholar, was with her parents Charles, 36, a Warehouseman, and Emma, 37, at their home 99 Back of George Street, All Saints, Birmingham, Warwickshire. With her were her siblings George E(dwin), 14, a Ship Lamp Maker, Elizabeth, 9, Scholar, William, 3, Scholar and 9 month old Charles.
From the 1901 Census (RG13 Piece 2843 Folio 71 Page 2) Emily (Emma), 24, from Brookfields, Birmingham, was with her husband Thomas (Philip) Challinor, 32, a Cash Box Maker from Smallheath, Birmingham, at 5 House 4 2 Court, St. Stephens, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. With them were their children Thomas, 3, born St. Pauls, Birmingham, Albert E, 2, born St. Georges, Birmingham, and Maud E, 1, born St. Stephens, Birmingham.
From the 1911 Census (RG14PN17869 RG78PN1091 RD383 SD1 ED46 SN171) Emma, 36, from Birmingham, Warwickshire, was with her husband Thomas, 43, Stationery Sundries Maker from Birmingham, Warwickshire, at 71 Dog Pool Lane, Ten Acres, Stirchley, Worcestershire, England.
