      From the 1851 Census (HO107 Piece 1808 Folio 129 Page 24) Ezra, 18, Farm Labourer from Ludham, Norfolk, was working for William Jay, 61, Farmer of 200 acres employing 10 Labourers, and his brother George, at Hall, Horning, Norfolk, England. Also present were the farmer's sisters Mary, 68, Housekeeper, and Sarah, 62, Gentlewoman and their nephew Thomas W, 18, Farmer. None of the family was married.
