- From the 1891 Census (RG12 Piece 3475 Folio 27 Page 1) we see that Thomas, 2 was living with his parents Thomas, 30, a Coachman - Domestic Servant, and Mary, 28 in Windy Hall, Rusland, Colton, Lancashire. With him were his siblings, William D(ickinson), 7, a Scholar, Richard B(ackhouse), 5 and Bonella, 3.
From the 1901 Census (RG13 Piece 3337 Folio 25 Page 11) we see that Thomas, 11 was living with his parents Thomas, 40, a Domestic Coachman, and Mary, 38 in Albert Place, Runcorn, Cheshire. With him were his siblings, William, 17, a Domestic Groom Coachman, Richard, 15, a Post Office Messenger and Bonella, 13.
