Hi Phil, thank you for responding so quickly and sending me the file of your run down from Thomas through the ages. You certainly did my head in explaining your wife's connection - so who exactly does she connect with?

During the years of searching I also came across Elizabeth Trenfield b. Fladbury Qtr 1 - 1793 born to Thomas & Elizabeth but could not find anything further. Had you anything on her.

Do you think that the Thomas (c. 2 April 1795) could also have been a son??

Now onto your file as it comes :

Sorry to trouble you Phil but I just came across your family tree whilst I was checking on hints for my ancestors. I am the great great grandaughter of James Giles Trenfield who married Ann Parkes in Fladbury on 11 Oct 1827. His son Andrew (my great grandfther) married Elizabeth Fanning in Australia and their son, Andrew Rudham Percy Trenfield was my grandfather. His son Andrew Lennox Trenfield my father. I knew previously that Elizabeth (Giles & Ann's daughter) had married Moses Bishop but was unable to get any further details. I have been struggling for sometime in verifying that Thomas Trenfield and Elizabeth Hopkins were the parents of James Giles and I have not been able to trace any details of their births/deaths, etc. and whether "Giles" had any other siblings. Are you able to help me with this.

I started looking again as my husband and I will be in England in May 2018 and we are briefly visiting the Fladbury/Pershore area for a day as I wanted to know area of my roots. I know "Giles" was a tailor and that his father died abt. 1844 as I have Thomas living with the family in 1841 Census.

Can you help me with this - I would greatly appreciate. My email is dienhoffbuilder@gmail.com

Thanks - and again - sorry for the intrusion.

      Janette (nee Trenfield)
