- James Vivian Tippet, eldest son, assumed the name Vivian on succeeding to the estates on the death of his first cousin John Vivian of Pencalenick.
James Vivian Tippet Esq. Grandson of Mary Vivian ( eldest sister of the Rev. John Vivian ) and her husband Mr. James Tippet of Nance, Cornwall.
James V. Tippet assumed upon inheriting " Pencalenick " the surname and arms of Vivian.
Died unmarried on 13 April, 1820 the estates devolved, under the entail, upon his first cousin John Tippet, another grandson of Mary Tippet, who assumed the surname and arms of Vivian.
By Royal Lic. and in compliance with the will of his kingsman John Vivian of Pencalenick assumed the surname only in lieu of Tippet 23 June 1817. Soliciter of Falmouth and Worshipful Master Elect of Falmouth Lodge of Masons. Died Falmouth 13 April 1820, buried Falmouth 18 April 1820. [2]
