With her were her siblings Frederick A., 16, Elastic Weaver, and Ann, 10. All the children were recorded as having been born in Leicester, Leicestershire. Also present was Thomas Gilbert, 12, Servant at Public House from Wanlip, Leicestershire. Boarding with them was Edward Breach, 20, Rifleman (Regular) from Windsor, Berkshire while temporary lodgers were John Hill, 38, Butcher from Swithland, Leicestershire, William Crofts, 30, Hawker of Confectionary, William Hubert, widower, 70, Farmer's Labourer from Ireland, George Dyson, 30, and his wife Mary, 30, Hawkers of Oranges from Market Harborough, Leicestershire, George Wood, 29, and his wife Harriet, 30, Hawkers of Confectionary, Oranges and Nuts from Northampton, and a 38 year old man from Nottingham.
