Hi Phil,
What a great email to wake up to at 5.15am! I know I keep saying (and will keep saying) how very grateful I am that you are so giving of your time and resources but it is true!! Thank you!!!
I am out of the office today delivering 2 days of training so I shall have a really good look at the Agar branch in the next few days and try to stay focussed!
On my g/father's side (Sidney) you asked about Doris (1911). She married Alf Smith and had 2 girls Hazel (1942) and Marlene (1836). Other siblings included Ashby Jnr (1913), Lily (1915), Archie (1916), Marjorie (1923), Barbara (1827) and Thelma (1832).
The person I am current ore-occupied with is Arch Goddard (1916-2000). I can't seem to shed much light in his first marriage - Josie or a daughters Gillian (1950) and Shirley (1953) or his WWII history. Any leads would be fantastic!!
You mentioned you are close to retirement - when do you plan to do this? My hubby Richard retired last year but I plan to work for another 3 yes at least. We have 2 children, Ian is an orthopaedic theatre technician and Jenny is a high school teacher. Do you and Julie live in the Leicester area?
Anyway had better get a move on - have a drive to get to my venue!
Have a great day.
Regards
Sue
