From the 1891 Census (RG12 Piece 1063 Folio 18 Page 31) Mary J(ane), 29, was with her husband Lewis, 29, a Life Insurance Inspector, at 99 Ferme Park Road, Hornsey, Middlesex. They had a visitor by the name of Joseph C Thomas, 8, from Ludlow, Shropshire, and a Domestic Servant by the name of Catherine Plenney, 21, from Oswestry.
According to the 1901 Census (RG13 Piece 1240 Folio 62 Page 3) Mary J(ane), 39, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, was with her husband Lewis T(homas), 37, an Inspector for a Life Insurance company, at 28 Ridge Road, Stroud Green, Hornsey, Middlesex. Also with her was her daughter Buddug M(achin), 1, and her father William Lloyd, 79, a Drapers Man, from Somerset.
