Hi Phil,
As a line probably of limited interest to you and I'm not going to even try and analyse that connection! I've attached a few images but it's been a long time since I did any research and I really need to tidy it all up when retirement beckons. Final image (A W Hunton) I stumbled across on Facebook just a couple of weeks back, which is bound to be connected somewhere along the line. Not sure if you're local to Norwich (I'm now in Perth, Scotland), but in terms of my Hunton/Sabberton connection, I'm given to understand that the start of Bussey and Sabberton, which evolved into Norwich's main Ford dealer, is connected somewhere along the way.
Kind regards,
Alan

Interestingly enough, in terms of his ancestors it looks like you ground to a halt at the same stages as myself! James Hunton, who I assume to also be from Carbrooke, born circa 1806. In terms of the Armes, etc. again we appear to have reached the same point.
