Alfred Henry North Colebrook was my Grandfather. I am youngest daughter of Phyllis. Very interested in how he appears on the Williams family tree, yours,Bronwen Davies
Hi Bronwen,
Many thanks for your message.
The Williams Family Tree has sprouted many branches over the years and
has grown links all over the world. My 3rd cousin and lifetime buddy
married into the Hoggett family. The Hoggetts are linked to the Leytons
and the Leytons to the Wates. I was lucky enough to obtain a copy of the
Wates Family Saga - a complete history of a Wates family that is still
kept up-to-date. Alfred's paternal grandmother was Sarah Ambrose Wates.
So, Alfred Henry North Colebrook is my 3rd cousin's wife's 2nd cousin 4
times removed wife's 2nd cousin once removed!! There's a mouthful for you!?!
I have added your sister and yourself to my database and attached a
chart for you to ponder that shows our relationship.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but, my guess is that you are now married
to Roy M. Davies (your email address gives this away) and you were
previously married to Robert G. Jackson. I am also guessing that your
sister, Lesley, married Richard E. Evans?
I hope this answers your question and if you could see your way to
updating my information I would be most grateful.
Best wishes and stay safe,
Phil Williams.
