- From the 1871 Census (RG10 Piece 5602 Folio 38 Page 35) Annie, 1, was with her mother Ann, a Dressmaker, at a house in the High Street, Aberdovey, Merioneth. Visiting them was Ellen Watkin, widow, 34, from Carnarvon.
From the 1881 Census (RG11 Piece 5478 Folio 60 Page 9) Annie (E), 11, a Scholar, was living with her mother Ann, 45, a Mariner's Wife, at 1 Bridge End, Aberdovey, Merionethshire, Wales. With her were her brothers John James, 8, and David William, 3.
From the 1891 Census (RG12 Piece 4587 Folio 46 Page 6) Annie E, 21, a Dressmaker, was living with her parents James, 50, a Master Mariner, and Ann, 56, at 6 New Street, Aberdovey, Merionethshire, Wales. With them were her Grandmother, Ann, 82, her brothers John J(ames), 18, a Grocer, David W(illiam), 13, a Scholar and her cousin David J(ohn) Williams, 18, a Sailor.
