Marriage |
Abt 1832 [1, 2] |
- Although no marriage is found, Gill Greatley has Ann's maiden name as East. In view of son Joseph's middle name however, there may have been a Jepson in her lineage.
In 1861 the family were living at the Laurel Tree Inn in Kennington, and Frederick was the Innkeeper as well as still being a seedsman.
The only registration for Charles Cutbush 1839 is in City of London. A baptism appears on the IGI, and there are three others at the same church with the same parents. These have to be part of the family. Thomas hasn't been traced, the other two died in 1838 and 1839 (which may be why the family moved to Kent ? ) [2]

West Ashford, Kent, England [2] |
- The surname is wrongly spelled on every Ancestry census index from 1871 to 1901, altough Thomas Jnr. is correct in 1901.
In 1901 Eliza and Clara are living in Hastings, as in 1891, but not Thomas; Eliza is not a widow and there is no death registration, so Thomas must have been either in hospital, an assylum or in prison (initials only used ) [2]
