1851 census living at Buwery Buck, Monk Wearmouth, Sunderland a George Lamb, aged 21, unmarried is a Ships 'Smith'?. Lives with Father George aged 50, a Shipwright, Mother Elizabeth aged 46, brother Joseph, 18 a Ships 'Smith', Christopher, 9, William Allcock, son in law, born Bishopswearmouth, aged 30, a cabman, Jane Allcock (Lamb) aged 23 and George Allcock aged 2.
1861 census lives at Harlock Bank private house with Elizabeth and Christopher. Father, Shipwright and son Shipwrights apprentice.
1871 census George Lamb, a ships carpenter lives at 49 High Southwick a few doors down from his son Christopher and family. [1]
