With her were her siblings George, 8, Scholar, Frederick, 7, Scholar, Susan, 4, Scholar, and An Infant (Emily), 1 week, and grandmother Eliza, widow, 62, Formerly Domestic Servant. Everyone except Eliza was reportedly born in Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire.
From the 1881 England Census (RG11 Piece 1408 Folio 60 Page 18) Alice, 12, Scholar, was with her parents John, 44, Blacksmith, and Sarah, 45, in Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire, England. With her were her siblings Fredric (sic), 18, Gardener, Emily, 10, Scholar, Albert, 7, Scholar, and Sarah, 4, Scholar. Boarding with the family was Charles Bray, 10, Scholar. Everyone was reportedly born in Furneaux Pelham, Hertfordshire.
Note: Charles Bray was nephew to Sarah (nee Saville).
