- From the 1891 Census (RG12 Piece 445 Folio 77 Page 13) Mabel, 8, is with her father Henry T(homas), 40, a Bankers Clerk, and stepmother Mary A(nn) L(etitia), 32, in 64 Cromford Road, St. Stephens, Wandsworth, London. With her was her half-brother Reginald H J, 3m. The household had two other people namely Isabella E J French, 17, a General Domestic Servant from Plumstead, Kent, England and Annie Moran, 50, a Domestic Nurse from Belper, Derbyshire.
From the 1901 Census (RG13 Piece 838 Folio 155 Page 31) Mabel, 18, was staying with her 'cousin' Robert W Paramor, 47, widower, a Builder and Contractor. Her real cousins William, 15 and Eleanor, 9, are also present along with Housekeepers Catherine File, 62, and Elizabeth J Pribble, 16.
