- From the 1841 Census (HO107 Piece 1171/8 Folio 49 Page 7) Mary, 25 was with her parents-in-law John, 70, and Hannah, 70, in Studley, Wiltshire, England. With her were her husband Jonas, 30, and children Thomas, 7, Suffie (Sophia), 6, John, 3, and Sarah, 1. All four adults were recorded as being Agricultural Labourers and everyone was recorded as being born in the county of Wiltshire.
From the 1851 Census (HO107 Piece 1836 Folio 597 Page 6) Mary, 37, was with her husband Jonas, 44, Labourer, at Studley Hill, Studley, Wiltshire, England. With them were their children Sophia, 16, Domestic Work, John, 13, Sarah, 10, Fanny, 8, William, 6, Mary, 3, and Jane, 10 months.
From the 1861 Census (RG9 Piece 1286 Folio 113 Page 11) Mary, 48, was with her husband Jonas, 52, Agricultural Labourer, at Frog Lane, Calne, Wiltshire, England. With them were their children William, 16, Labourer, Mary, 14, Jane 11, Hannah, 7, Jonas, 5, and grandson George, 6.
From the 1871 Census (RG10 Piece 1902 Folio 10 Page 11) Mary, widow, 60, no occupation, was in Frog Lane, Calne, Wiltshire, England. With her were her children William, 26, Agricultural Labourer, Hannah, 17, Domestic Servant, Jonas, 14, Agricultural Labourer, and grandchildren George, 17, Agricultural Labourer, and Mary, 4, Scholar.
