  • Notes
    • Living at Waltham Cross at time of marriage

There is a death for Charles Chopping in Edmonton district (which includes Cheshunt) for Sep qtr of 1843 vol 3 p 91. On 1851 census, there is a Sarah Waller, married to Will Waller. There are three Waller children aged 5, 3 and 5 months. Plus two ?sons in law? (stepsons of head of household?) Will Chopping and Charles Chopping aged 11 (b. 1840) and 8 (b 1843). It looks as though these are the children of Charles Chopping and Sarah Tween and that Charles chopping died leaving Sarah his widow to marry Will Waller.

There is a Sarah Chopping and a William Waller in the marriages for the Edmonton district for the Dec quatr of 1844 vol 3 p 77.

Without the certs I can?t say for sure, but I think my theory here is correct.
