Along with the 1841 census records, the 1851 jobbies have also been transferred to the new website. That’s two folders and 741 returns completed with seven folders and 3827 returns to go. The 1861 census is the next on the list but there are a few other things to be sorted first.
I have received a number of GEDCOM and other files for inclusion into the database and I am very grateful for all those who have contributed. Although the ‘new’ records will be added to the database at the earliest convenience, they may not get checked for quite a while due to the amount of work I need to do on the website and the holiday period. At the moment there are 3051 individual records that have been added but not checked – with more on the way! Keep them coming, they will all get sorted eventually.
