I came across this website by chance and found relatives by the name of Proffitt from my grandparents back. I just wondered if and how there is a connection please? Silas Proffitt was my grandmothers father and she later married a Jones who, somewhere in his line, is Welsh. It would be very interesting to hear from you with regards to connection please.
