It would appear that a marriage entry for person reference I97300 (Samuel T Proffitt) is incorrect. That is because this young man was killed in WW1 aged 19. Please see below

For your information, Silas Proffitt was my 1st cousin once removed's husband's 2nd cousin twice removed!
