Hi,
My name is Alison Picton and I am currently trying to identify unidentified graves in our local cemetery.
I have a lena alfreds buried in our general cemetery. Could this possibly be your Elena Alfreds?
She is buried next to a very old grave, both bearing the same identical religious symbol.
I note on your family page that Elena was married to a John Alfreds who died in 1910. I also note you state that he was buried in Mungindi QLD. Do you have evidence for this? I have a suspicion that it is possible that the grave next to her is her husband, however it bears no markings.
I would love to discuss this further with you if possible.
