To add to your Norton side of the tree, whom I knew of -
George Norton had two children with his wife, Gertrude. I don't know why, but they appeared to have the nicknames of Steve and Stephanie. George Norton was a mayor of Dudley. Their children were Rosalie Mary Croft (nee Norton), who was born 19.11.1930 and John Richard Cherrington Norton (b. 1934?). Both are now deceased. John died at a young age, but had three children with his wife, Wendy. Their names are Sarah, Christopher and Victoria. They are all married and have children. I don't have any up-to-date details of them. John's wife, Wendy, subsequently married a Mr Walker (I don't know his first name) and her three children took their step-father's surname.

Many thanks for the information. John and Wendy's first child was Caroline though, not Sarah. I have confirmed the rest of your tale - apart from the Steve and Stephanie part!! 🙂
