For the past 55 years I have been researching my family tree, have read all your guestbook entries, but still no connection. Why do my searches of Mary Pumfrey and William Thorpe come up on the Williams tree. I can find no connection to Williams

Hi Anne,

Quite simply, The Williams Family Tree has many branches and has grown outwards as well as up and down.

Less simply, William Thorpe and Mary Pumfrey were my ex-wife's great uncle's wife's 2nd cousin once removed's wife's 2nd cousin's wife's 3rd great-grandparents!
