He died 9 May 1942 Rookwood, New South Wales. NSW BDM have him as Rupert Herbert Percy MAIDMENT. He is listed on the Find-a-grave site as Ruben H P MAIDMENT. He is buried at Rookwood General Cemetery, Zone F, Methodist New Section o4C, grave 29.
So far I have been unable to track down where his wife died or is buried

According to a researcher on FamilySearch, Amelia died 1959 in Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia. I have been unable to confirm this but you might have better luck.
