My grandfather Walter Whall Durrant was the brother of George Ernest Durrant who was born in Islington. He emigrated to Canada probably in 1920's. He married Ada and had a son George. Great uncle Ernest used to send me new issues of Canadian stamps until his death in the 1960's. I have lost all contact with the relatives in Canada.
